Benefits Programs secured proper staff support within budget
The Challenge
Our customer was looking to provide meaningful health benefits to their small team of 8. They had already reached out to many popular insurance providers, however they were unable to obtain proper benefits without significant admin fees and/or rigid packages that didn’t fit employee needs.
With past providers, anytime an employee had a question regarding benefits, it was left to the employer to contact the insurance provider for an answer. Overseeing the administration was taking up too much of their time. They needed a cost-effective and time-efficient solution to provide adequate health benefits for their employees.

To ensure their new benefits were able to act as powerful attraction and retainment tool, each employee was taken through an in-depth orientation on their new program so that they understood exactly what they were covered for. They were taught how to navigate their online portal, how to submit claims and how to get their money back.
The Impact
BrightMatter’s benefits programs resulted in cost-savings for the customer. Their new plan cost less, but covered the exact same benefits as what the top insurance providers offered.
Their new benefits program was also better tailored to their needs. They no longer had to accept rigid policies of other insurance companies, which included things they didn’t need such as life insurance and long-term disability. This allowed the employer to focus their spending on things employees truly valued such as increased vision care and paramedicals. Freed up from supporting these unwanted benefits programs, their cost-savings therefore soared for their organization in Toronto.
